You can walk along the main road to the bridge and see it, but if you're feeling a little bit more adventurous, it's worth the walk up the gravel paths, past the small farms and you can get to it from around the back. Google maps will show you a route that gets you there up past the sugar mill, through an underpass and then a viewpoint to take even better snaps.

Worth a call if you are traveling to the caves.
Built in 1880 to carry water from Nerja to the sugar refinery in Maro.
Still used for agricultural irrigation.
Visible from the main road, go on the local road if you want a better view.

Worth an early morning walk from Nerja. Took about an hour along the main road and then through farm land. Stunning architecture.

Cool but slightly anticlimactic, Would recommend going at sunset and throwing in a coin for good luck ! it’s a tradition apparently

Must see.

These is a beautiful easy walking path with fantastic views. Starting in nerja caves to nerja beaches, which really passes by the aqueduct.

The aqueduct was under restoration in 2010 and looks fantastic

Path also goes along the maro fabric and beautifully takes you to the beach
