At Home In Malaga Stay & Solo Travellers

Everything about our stay was magical. From the food to the wonderful hosts. If I could give them more stars I would. Both my partner and I had the pleasure of staying here for 8 days and on arrivle, we felt instantly welcomed. Each morning we woke to a beautiful breakfast served by such lovely staff. Our room was cleaned every day and whenever we required something Marcela and Antonio made sure to make it happen for us. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere then this is the place for you.

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst in Victoria.

Marcela is a great host. Friendly and will answer any questions you need.

The swimming pool and lounge area are lovely to relax in, although we had some issues with mosquitoes around, getting bitten a fair bit, but I guess that comes with the climate.

I had to knock off a star due to the room size. We didn't really have a good idea of the room layout beforehand, and it was a bit smaller than we had expected. Also note that you had to climb a ladder to access your bed (not an issue for us, but may be an issue for older people or anyone with mobility issues!).

We didn't realise until we arrived that there was a complimentary breakfast every morning, with toast, croissants, coffee etc. Nice touch.

Only other issue that we had, was that as its a dead-end road, quite a few of the properties around had guard dogs which would go crazy when you walked past. We even had to move our car when we first arrived as there was a dog in the gate just outside that we were really worried about! Although I understand this has nothing to do with the host.

The area is more of a local area, which we prefer, with the beach 10 mins away, and many local bars and cafes around.

The B&B is amazing. Feels as home. Cozy, friendly respectfull owners. Reply very quickly and helpfull. Very clean and my room was perfect. Also added some pictures of my experience outside of the B&B. Nice beach (walking distance), a lot of good food places and malaga is close by with the bus. We will be back.

I have been coming to At Home In Malaga for many years and could not fault it. It's a beautiful villa set in a quiet residential area perfect for those who want a relaxing short break or longer stay. You are sure to get a warm welcome. Close to all local amenities.
