About the neighbourhood: Málaga-Este

The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

Very good food. Poor service, the young waiter wasn't even trying to understand a word in English, nor he smiled just a little bit. But i high lily recommend if you want to eat good, cheap and especially local . Only locals here so i don't blame them not knowing the language.

This place offers the best paella for locals in Malaga so far! We come here to enjoy family gathering and seafood!

They have take away and we took a paella. That is why we cannot say anything about the service or atmosphere.

Simple and good. You can choose between fried fish or grilled fish. Very very tasty, fresh fish

If you want to eat paella, at 2 o’clock this is the place to be in ,my favorite dish is the one with the black rice. The selection of fish is great too.I like the fried Júreles which is a type of mackerel. It is about 10 minutes from the beach and it is full of locals, sort of off the beaten track.
