Blanca Maris

My stay at Hotel Blanca Maris Fuengirola was an excellent experience. The location is perfect — close to the beach, restaurants, and the train station, yet the neighborhood is calm and vivid. The staff were friendly and professional, and everything was spotless and well organized.

I booked a studio room, and it really exceeded my expectations: completely new, modern, and designed in a simple but comfortable way. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, the air conditioning was great, and all the essential amenities were available in the room. The space felt like a small, cozy, and modern home, ideal for a few days’ stay.

Overall, it was one of the best accommodation options I’ve found in Fuengirola, and I’ll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have a warm shower for three days due to the storm. There was an emergency shower available, but everyone used it and it wasn’t cleaned regularly, which wasn’t very hygienic.

Housekeeping wasn’t consistent. If you got up later, sometimes the room wasn’t cleaned, leaving you almost out of toilet paper or clean towels. Bedsheets were usually fine, but basic supplies should be reliable.

We started in a small standard room for two. Because the TV didn’t work, we were upgraded to a better room, which we appreciated. On the day we left, we overheard two men being upgraded to rooms with kitchens without any problem. It felt unfair, as we would have liked that too to avoid eating out every day.

The main lift often didn’t work properly, so you had to use the back lift, and the buttons in the front lift were unreliable. The hallway light outside our room stayed on all night, which isn’t disruptive but you can see it under the door.

Staff were friendly, professional, and willing to help. Wifi and TV connection were good. The hotel is still under development, so you have to look past some issues.

The fridge was small, which meant frequent shopping for a two-week stay. The mattresses are very firm—good for someone with back problems like my husband, but uncomfortable for the rest of us. Pillows were very soft, but not always comfortable for the neck.

Cleaning was generally hygienic, but new tea bags weren’t always provided.

At night the street outside is very noisy, especially if you leave the balcony door open. There were many shouting people, which was quite extreme. With the balcony door closed, the noise was manageable, but it’s something to be aware of if you choose a hotel on the street.

Overall, we felt it was disappointing to pay over €700 for this stay. Mistakes happen, of course, but most of our issues could have been easily avoided. For that price, we expected a bit more.

Stayed here last week. Hotel still being built. Should be finished by the end of October. Will be a very nice hotel once finished rooms are a good size with every thing you need for a comfortable stay. Large modern bathroom. Think we we're first people to stay in this room. Tv was not tuned in, remote for air-conditioning had no battery in and no tea and coffee. Am sure once its fully opened these will be sorted out. And will definitely try this hotel again

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely kind and professional. Excellent service and a great location, very close to the sea. I also heard they will be opening a restaurant soon, which is great news. I would definitely come back again.

Fantastic location, inexpensive underground parking available in building behind, spacious room, spacious bathroom, non slip floor in walk-in shower!!, hangers for towels next to shower, smart TV, functioning power sockets next to bed, great aircon which also heats, real hangers and not those silly ones, and the staff vere terrific. Highly recommend.
