BQ Andalucía Beach Hotel

Amazing staff, Sole was just so welcoming and Informative. Spotlessly clean, super hot water, free parking and excellent location for great value. Only negative but it's a Biggie is that there is no sound proofing so the noise from other rooms and corridor meant 2 poor night's of sleep on amazingly comfortable beds.

The location of the accommodation was good. We were able to move around easily by car and reach nearby places quickly. For a summer holiday the beach is approximately 500 metres away, which makes it a convenient distance.

There is a small parking area at the hotel for about four cars. However, there were plenty of free parking spaces available in the surrounding streets. We visited outside the main season, so the availability of parking might be different during the summer months.

The room was spacious enough and had a nice sea view with a large balcony, which was a very pleasant feature. The bed was comfortable and the room overall felt nice. Storage space was rather average and not very large.

The hotel also has a small gym with two treadmills and two strength machines. There is also a jacuzzi and an outdoor swimming pool, which I assume is very busy during the main season.

The food was overall average. What was a big disappointment was the cleanliness in the dining area. Plates, cups and glasses were often very dirty. Sometimes it was difficult to find a clean plate and we had to wipe them with a napkin before using them. I also would not recommend drinking the water from the machine. The dispenser for both flavoured and plain water did not seem clean and the water did not taste good, so we preferred to bring our own bottled water.

We paid a 4 star money for a 1 star rubbish room, no balcony or working a/c overlooking a run down apartment. We asked for to change rooms but was told Hotel full...Don't think so, asked for our money back to change hotels...no..felt ripped off good style.... watch out for lots of building 🏢 work adjacent to hotel you could get a site view..

Could not fault any of the staff from helpful reception staff to the food and bar service. I only ate breakfast during my stay but the choice of food for breakfast was excellent something for all tastes and tables were cleared and cleaned almost as soon as they were vacated. Would certainly come back again next time I visit.

Lovely clean hotel. Not much atmosphere when we were there probably due to time of year, late April. No complaints though. Great location. May be best suited to an elderly clientele.
