we ordered 3 things.
duck: fantastic, everybody should try
tuna tartar with avocado: way too much spice, less would be better
sweet potato and pumpkin: good, the pumpkin a little bit tasteless, the portion is huge
We stopped here as the dinner place we where waiting on was not open yet so we tried the Glazed duck brioche, fried gyozas and port crackling.

BUGIO is a modern Andalusian tapas restaurant in Málaga that combines local flavors with international influences. The menu features fresh, quality ingredients prepared as tapas, grilled dishes, fish, and pizzas, with an extensive drink selection including craft cocktails.
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Will definitely come back here to try the dinner menu😅👍
Our last night in Málaga during the Semana Santa we came in for tapas and wine. We ordered a bottle of Albariño and the nem, torreznos, gyozas and croquetas. Everything was delicious! And while we were sitting there, one of the many processions came by and they (very thoughtfully) turned out the lights so we could see it!
First of all, great service. Our waitress, Mar, was both knowledgable and extremely nice. She had some good advice both on food and drink. Foodwise, we had great tapas. Some of it was even amazing. Try the melted Provolone heavenly! Some selection of good local wines. The 2024 Botani Moscatel from Jorge Ordoñes is sooooo good.
Great place, wish I had time to visit more than once. It was quiet when I entered around 18:30 but soon became quite busy. I had a lovely chat with Océane and her wine recommendation was spot on. I also had the melted Provençal which was amazing and definitely recommend having with bread to thoroughly enjoy. Fab prices, cool vibe, lovely staff…. Think they were a bit understaffed but were still so pleasant.
