Caléndula Tapas

I had an amazing dinner at this typical restaurant with my girlfriend. Everything we tried was truly delicious and exceeded expectations.

We started with the croquetas de gamba roja, perfectly crispy and full of flavor. The tuna and avocado tartare topped with wakame was absolutely outstanding, so good that I had to order a second portion. It was definitely the highlight of the evening.

We also had the brioche de costilla, which was very tasty and satisfying, and the ensalada rusa, elevated by a unique and delicate mayonnaise foam. Even the warm bread was excellent-fresh, fragrant, and really enjoyable.

To finish, we had torrijas for dessert, which were absolutely delicious and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the nice time at the terrace during my lunch break. Foot was really goid and good qaulity. Service was nice and fast and te place is adorable. I will defenitely go bsck :)

The service is polished and genuinely warm, setting the tone from the first bite: an incredible Vieira Carpaccio, pristine and expressive, a masterclass in restraint. The Tuna Duo is nothing short of spectacular—silky tuna tartare paired with perfectly seared tuna—lifted beautifully by a chilled glass of Spanish Albariño that ties the flavors together with elegance.

Then comes the Cochinillo: exquisite, crisp where it should be, tender where it must be, and handled with the respect this classic deserves.

Desserts here are thoughtful and playful. The white chocolate with pistachio and brownie sand is unforgettable and my clear favorite, while the brownie with vanilla ice cream offers a refreshingly modern take that defies expectations. You will be impressed—Calendula is fine dining with soul, and a destination worth seeking out.

This place totally shaped my understanding of Tapas. Their food is innovative and something to yearn. The Salmorejo is spectacular. The orange Salmorejo is a wonder. The most delicate Cod I have ever had. My only regret here was ordering the Salmon, which was great! But it lacked the innovative spirit. Stick to Spanish tapas and you'll wish the evening never ends.
