We had a fantastic experience at Casona Los Morangos. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. Every bite was full of flavor, and the portions were generous.

The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of charm, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit.

If you're in Málaga and looking for excellent food, a lovely atmosphere, and great service, Casona Los Morangos is definitely worth a visit. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice location. I’m baffled by the quantity of good reviews. Rubbery and bland food. One of the worst I’ve had in Spain in all my years of coming. The server was nice. We noticed he didn’t ask how anything was, which is an obvious question if you’ve left half your meal on the table. To us, it was clear he didn’t, because what could he do? I wasn’t going to ask for a refund, and I never leave reviews, but this experience inspired it. The food was clearly microwaved. The fish was likely frozen, or at least not fresh, and overcooked. Even the Spanish tortilla was bland and simply awful. It was room temperature (which can be fine if it’s good) but the plate came piping hot. My glass of wine was lovely!

Had the grilled squid and meat balls in the tapas. It tasted so good especially the squid topped with the Chimichuri sauce and sprinkle of sea salt was the highlight.

They also have good vegetarian options in the pasta. Had the Ricotta Ravioli pasta and it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was tasty.

Absolutely disappointing experience.

The burger was completely raw and therefore inedible. This is something that simply must not happen in a restaurant. The fries were just as bad, tasting strongly of fish, as if they had been fried in the same oil as fish and chips. Completely unacceptable.

We also ordered three steaks “medium well”. What we received was meat that was clearly undercooked, closer to medium rare or even raw. This is not a minor mistake but a serious failure in preparation. When a specific level of doneness is ordered, it should be respected.

The worst part: one of the steaks even had a hair in it. This is a serious hygiene issue and an absolute no-go.

To make matters worse, the paella we ordered never even arrived.

Overall, the quality of the food and service was far below any acceptable standard. The positive Google reviews are completely incomprehensible to us.

We had an amazing dining experience! The paella was delicious. The portion was generous and great for sharing. Everything tasted authentic and well-prepared.

The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We also tried other dishes, and everything was just as impressive.

Definitely a place I would come back to and highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a memorable experience!
