About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Rented Peugeot Tweet 125 for a day. All good and legit. Simple procedure to rent it. The scooter itself surprised me with it's nice power. Although the suspension was a bit too stiff and the helmet does a poor job blocking the wind to the ears on speeds above 50:D
All in all -I recommend it. Seems to be the cheapest way to rent a scooter in Malaga too.
Renting a scooter or a motorcycle is the best thing you can do on your Malaga vacation. Nearby villages, mountains, nature parks and coastal towns are so much better than laying at the same beach every day.
The Cooltra rentals provides an excellent service and the lowest price in the city. Rental conditions were precisely explained to us, then a brand new Peugot scooter (~200km mileage) was given. 450km done in 3 days with no problems at all. The scooter ate tight corners and steep uphills with no hesitation.
Sadly, Cooltra is not open on Saturday :(
I had very good experience, scooter was almost branded new. I will recommend to book your scooter online, because you will have 5% discount vs if you book it in office.
