Farmacia Óptica Novo

I don't know what to say really, so I will probably update this review at a later date. This had always been my preferred chemist. All the staff I had dealt with had been the most attentive and helpful I could ask for. Until today: the member of staff (or maybe owner) lied to me, saying they did not have *any* of the medication on my wife's prescription and could not order it. "Go to another chemist" was the message. I know I am obviously not a local, but I hope such 'racism' was not the reason she refused to serve me.

Discrimination. EU prescriptions are refused despite being valid according to EU regulations. The pharmacist stated that only Spanish prescriptions were valid. However, according to the Commission Implementing Directive 2012/52/EU of 20 December 2012, prescriptions issued in another EU member state must not be refused if the medication is available, if the necessary information on the prescription is given (this was the case) and if the prescription is not expired (the prescription was signed a week ago, it was not expired). I am considering a formal complaint to the Junta de Andalucía, because it cannot be that a pharmacist does not know the law.

Excellent service and impeccable organization
I visited the pharmacy at the Larios Shopping Center and the experience was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the impression was very positive: the store is spotless, with perfectly organized shelves and a level of cleanliness evident in every corner.

What I would highlight most is the professionalism of the team. They greeted me as soon as I entered, and the staff, who are properly uniformed and identified, were very helpful in answering my questions about a product, demonstrating their thorough knowledge of what they sell.

Furthermore, the payment process was very quick, and they provided me with a receipt without me even having to ask. It's a pleasure to shop in places where both orderliness and customer service are so carefully considered. Highly recommended!

I went to buy some medicine and everything was perfect; the girl was very friendly. Highly recommended.
