Gastrobar La Santa María, is an open, inviting space off to the right-hand side of the foyer of the hotel. They offer good discounts, if you use the fork!! the pork and solomillo beef are particularly tasty, and the cod salad has a nice twist. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby to the station and looking for a quick but quality meal.

Lovely place with good view and cosy fire place. Pizza is Best. Chicken was also great. Tacos were good too.

Stayed here at the Barcelo malaga for 5 nights and food, drinks, service and atmosphere was excellent. Special mention to Javier and Oscar who worked at the main bar they were absolutely brilliant and very friendly . Will definitely be coming back here soon.

I ate here last wednesday with the fork and it was really really bad. The croquetas were cold, the burger was the most cheap thing ever and also cold and red meat on the inside. The "salad" were a few leaves with a tiny bit of cheese and 3 zuchini strings. Also me and my friend now 3 days later both have diarrhea ever since. I warn you do NOT come here to eat!!

For the starter we took the prawn taco - disappointing. The flavor was unbearable, we didn't eat it at all and wasted the money on it.

But, the dish I can only recommend is the octopus with potatoes which was surprisingly amazing! But again, we waited for an hour and a half for the main dishes... can't say it was worth it. Service is slow!
