I lost a screw which holds the lenses on my glasses so popped in to see if they can fix, they were so nice and fixed it for free ... I know where I will be doing my next eye test

I have severe farsightedness, and I was advised to buy sunglasses or the option of wearable dark lenses in some models. I really liked the idea, and since the expert recommended it, I took their advice and bought the glasses.
The problem is that they didn't take into account the thickness of my lenses, causing the most expensive glasses I've ever owned to start scratching from day one.

I didn't realize it for a while, thinking it was my own oversight, especially when I went for a second check-up. They made a face at me, implying I was careless, and it was me.

Visiting other opticians, several professionals confirmed that it was clearly a mistake not to consider the thickness of my lenses, causing both lenses to scratch every time I wore the sunglasses.

These scratches are the most annoying I've ever had because they appear right on the thickest part of the lens, where my eye focuses. I thought the high price was for the quality, but more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better.
