Hotel Avenida 31

I didn't stay at hotel just popped in for a bite to eat. Very popular with locals, friendly service. Ensalada Rusa tapas was a bit bland but boquerones al limon were delicious, a good size serving and very reasonably priced easpecially as I coild have had them with chips or salad

I only have visited this Hotel to use the restaurant on the ground floor which is open to all. The food excellent value, and the overall service is very friendly. But the food takes a long long time to arrive, and this appears to be because staff talking to each other predominates in the small kitchen and Bar area

My wife and I are frequent guest at this hotel. It’s perfect for walking to SO many restaurants and within a short walk (1000 meters) to the beach. The owners are top notch and so kind, warm and knowledgeable.

I’m always trying never left the bad review but this situation made me left a double impression. once stayed here for the night, everything was not bad: calm atmosphere, friendly service and so on. this is, by the way, a family business, as they said, so there really is such an environment there.
after a while we went just for coffee because of this special atmosphere- everything was fine. the last time it was the same - we went for coffee like at any cafe, but I wanted to take another breakfast at the last moment without asking the price and counting on the honesty of the seller, I had breakfast, and when I calculated, it turned out that the standard couple of coffees and an insignificant omelette cost like a full meal for one person in an average restaurant ... silently paid, left, but no more, sorry. greed must be curbed, so you will never build loyal customers. the desire to grab a piece always puts sticks in the wheels at a distance.

Could be better. All the starters arrived at different times as did the main course which in itself could have been hotter nothing worst then being served cold French fries. Attention to detail is all it takes. Staff walk past you while you sit with empty glasses for 20 plus minutes.
