Hotel Natursun

Arrived and had bed bugs in my first room. The staff were good about it and gave me a new room at 1:30am and it was an upgraded room with a sea view which I appreciated. The next day I asked if they had laundry services to make sure my clothes didn’t have bed bugs in (which their website says they do!) so I could clean my clothes but they said they had nothing and to go to the laundromat across the road which I then had to pay for.
There was a constant bad smell from the bathroom, the lights made a buzz the whole time, the walls are super thin so you can hear everything and there are no English TV channels so the TV was pointless. The website says there is a bar but there is not, there’s just some over priced vending machines.

For positives: the shower was really good and the bed comfy. The location is also really good - not far from the train station and super close to the beach. The view I had in my new room was amazing.

We stayed at this hotel and experienced what we believe to be a bed bug infestation.
During our stay we woke with multiple bites, which developed overnight and worsened across the stay. We had no bites or skin reactions prior to arriving. After checking out, we required medical treatment for the bites.
We also found black spotting on the mattress, which is consistent with bed bug faecal markings. These marks were absorbed into the fabric rather than sitting on the surface, suggesting they were not superficial dirt.
The hotel later stated that they found no signs of bed bugs when checking the beds. Given the physical evidence and our injuries, this raises serious concerns about the thoroughness of inspections and hygiene standards.
We have raised this formally through the booking provider and supplied photographic evidence of both the bedding and the bites.
Based on our experience, we would not stay here again and would advise others to exercise caution.

Location - great
Rooms - very basic, sliding door doesn’t lock.
Bathrooms: great
Noise: very noisy, you can hear music and people all night, if you are in a room beside the lift / stairs then you will hear it all night too.
Good carpark but it isn’t very secure at night someone can just walk in off the street

If you are a light sleeper don’t stay here

Wouldn’t really call it a 3 star.
Bathrooms are old and stank a lot!! They would clean it everyday but 3 hours later it’s back + Molds as well. Shower head was awful you couldn’t stand properly.
Hotel bed is very good
Breakfast was good, however the same everyday with no change.
Hotel staff is good, 10/10 to them
Quite old building
Location is so-so as well

I have no idea why this hotel is rated so highly. The rooms are so badly maintained. Mold in the showers, wood framing falling apart, pressboard deteriorating. Our balcony was completely enclosed and you could not see out. I tried to get extra pillows, but they didn’t have any extra pillow cases. And if you want to lock or unlock the door you have to use a key that turns on a card, so the lights turn off. Are other’s paid for their reviews? How are we treating the same hotel?
