We had a nice experience at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning view that makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, dinner, or just a drink, the scenery alone is worth the visit.
The restaurant has a modern and stylish bar that creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly, attentive, and our food and drinks were served quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy.
We ordered the Patatas Bravas and the Ensalada con Atún, and both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The Patatas Bravas were perfectly crispy with a delicious sauce, while the tuna salad was light and fresh. Together, they made for a satisfying and enjoyable meal. Because of the great place, the prices were a little bit high.
Overall, this is a fantastic place to relax, enjoy great food, and take in the amazing views. The combination of the beautiful location, modern setting, fast and friendly service, and tasty food makes it a place we would happily visit again. Highly recommended!

I’m sorry, but I expected much better for such a restaurant with a good rating.
The food was pretty good, mussels were exceptional! However for kids we ordered a plain spaghetti with parmesan cheese - there were parts that were not fully cooked.
The part that we were disappointed in most - we pointed to a wine that was originally 30€ to the waiter, he brought us a wine twice that price - 60€. He didn’t even mention anything about that, we were clueless about it until the cheque. When we told him about the situation he didn’t say anything just brushed it off.
I get it might be a mistake made, but please at least apologise to the customers 🙏🏿 This made our bill skyrocket from 130€ -> 160€.
On the other hand - the view was beautiful, modern and spectacular design.

Completely disappointed in last nights dinner experience. The reviews do not align with the quality or atmosphere of the restaurant.

Firstly it look our waiter a second to come see us, we could tell he was treating multiple tables around us differently, he was attentive to us when he realized I was making notes. But the tables beside us may not have gotten the same service. Hostess was very nice and accommodating although she gave us a table in the dining room, when we reserved the terrace.

The drinks were okay but we were given 4 dirty plates back to back, along with dirty silverware that all had clear stains/food still on it. Very off putting.

The mussels were good but the white wine sauce was not fully reduced, it came with a lot of sauce no spoon and no bread. They also did not clear the plates efficiently, we were sitting with empty clam shells basically until our entrées arrived.

I ordered the entrecot medium, and it came out completely rare then took 20 minutes to bring my plate back at the right temperature. The Seabass was very bland and needs a new side.

The worst part of the whole experience had to be the horrible bathrooms. All men’s, woman’s, and handicap bathrooms were all filthy and completely unusable. No clean toilet paper it was all dirty and stuck to the floor. I’ve seen nicer club bathrooms. Not to mention the huge wall where you can see out at guests and they can see into the bathroom, which I think is horrific.

Indoor decor is modern but very commercial and dated nothing special. Love their open kitchen concept, but overall it’s lacking elegance. The colored LED lights and fake plants made it look cheap. Along with that if you’re sitting on the dining room facing the beach, you may be distracted by the gross view of an overfilled trashcan, which to me ruins an experience.

Shame such a beautiful location is lacking a beautiful restaurant. Lamalaka do better.

Muchas Gracias!

This place has a wonderful atmosphere with its prime beachfront location. There's something special about enjoying breakfast with the sound of waves and a view of the sand right in front of you. The setting alone makes it worth a visit.

The food quality impressed me. I ordered a smoothie that was fresh, well-balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients rather than overly sweetened mixes. The granola yogurt bowl was equally satisfying, with crunchy, flavorful granola and creamy yogurt that paired perfectly together. Both items felt thoughtfully prepared rather than just thrown together.

Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Would definitely return.

Me, my partner, and our friends ate at Lamalaka on our final night in Nerja, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful, and the views were spectacular.

The food was delicious, the portion sizes were huge, and the cocktails were incredible. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Lamalaka to anyone visiting Nerja.
