Macdonald La Ermita Resort

Our second time here. On the plus side, great location and views and spacious apartments.
On the negative - tired and worn out decor, but that seems standard for Spanish hotels, some ants in every room, and an inane weird guest in a nearby room who whistled loudly and tunelessly at all times of day and night and badly played two chords on a cheap acoustic guitar. A strange and disturbing affliction that really caused us some nuisance and no doubt other neighbouring guests too. It was reported but nothing was done. Better care for guests should be provided and disruptive guests like this should be challenged and not allowed to disrupt others’ otherwise peaceful stay.

Fab time here for a 3 night stay, staff especially in the on site restaurant are amazing! Views are unparalleled.

Excellent service starting from making the reservation itself until the very end of our stay. The staff at the reception were super helpful with arrangements of all sorts, no matter hour of the day/night. Rooms tidy and with a good standard. The view is exactly as beautiful as all photos of it also suggest.

Easily one of the best places I stayed with great uninterrupted views. The apartment is well suited and kitted with most people's needs. Another tv in the bedroom would have been nice. It's spacious and very clean. Used gym and indoor pool, sauna...and all are excellent. Pool could have been a bit more warm to my liking but still I was able to get in for a swim. Staff were great, parking is definitely a plus. I had already recommended this place to my friends and family and hope to visit again myself sometime next summer.

Never disappointed with our stays at La Ermita. The location in Mijas is spectacular.
