Absolutely brilliant world recommended if your visit in Spain
Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

If purchasing tickets through ALSA. Pick-up/drop-off location not clear on ticket or at bus station, must verify location with attendant upon arrival. Mad dash to enter the bus. No assigned seating. Must load luggage into bus storage yourself. Bus is clean. The bus was late by 12 minutes during pickup.
Alsa staff was very rude to us. My son wanted to use toilet but he locked it in front of us and didn't allow to use. Also, the premise is utterly shabby.
Lovely place to walk around during all hours of the night. Delicious spooky benches to sit on and nice boats to look at. Enjoy the art installations for kids, too. Some of the restaurants close well before midnight so be careful!
The coach station is nice, the station is organised into different coach service providers which can feel overwhelming but make sure to come with enough time to find your corresponding service providers. The staff are very helpful if you need help. Please note for anyone travelling from the coach station to further out areas that you need to either buy a ticket online or buy a ticket a from the ticket office at the coach station. There is no other ways to get on the coach. Also the coachs are like a lotto game for seating. Even though you have a ticket doesn’t mean there will be space on the coach for you. So try to board a coach a few hours ahead of your desired arrival time. That way if there’s no space for you then you can board another coach later on, granted there is space. Enjoy your trips!
