Nuna Nursery School Mijas

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Nuna Mijas (previously Little Learners) for making our daughter’s time there so wonderful. She is truly happy, which is so important to us, especially after her first experience at a different school was not a positive one.

Starting late in the year and feeling very apprehensive due to her previous experience, we cannot thank Larissa enough for the extra care, patience, and effort she has put into helping her settle in so comfortably and confidently. Within a week she was completely settled and has been excited to go back every day since.

With the return of Blanca from maternity leave, the team has become even stronger, and she is equally caring and attentive with the children. There is a lovely group of children attending at the moment, with equally wonderful parents.

We feel very lucky to have found this preschool and intend for our daughter to stay until she is 6. She comes home every day with new skills and interests in different topics, and we are confident her educational needs are being met as well as her emotional ones.

As parents, we are also very grateful for the open and supportive environment. Larissa and Blanca are always available to message and to speak with in person.

Our 3-year-old daughter has been at Nuna School for the past two years, and our 6-year-old son joined a year ago after we moved him from a nursery we weren’t happy with.

From the very first day, both of them have run in excitedly and come out with huge smiles. They talk about their teachers, Larissa and Blanca, as if they’re their best friends - which says a lot about how caring, attentive, and genuinely kind they are with the children.

The school’s focus on learning through play feels exactly right for this age group, and we’ve really seen both of our children flourish in that environment.

As parents, we’ve always felt well supported. Communication from the school is clear, respectful, and helpful, and it’s reassuring to see that the children’s emotional wellbeing is valued just as much as their learning - something that matters a lot to us.

Our children have had such a happy start to their early years at Nuna, and we’ll be truly sad to say goodbye when we move home later this year.

My son spent 18 months at this nursery before moving onto preschool. He absolutely loved it in little learners and especially spending time with Blanca which is one of the teachers there. He came out with lots of impressive work and achieved so much in the time he had spent there. Blanca taught him a lot of Spanish which is amazing, as we are British it was important to me that he learnt the language too. I’m sure my son will visit during summer holidays which is also a great option for us. It’s a good set up with in, a lot of space and areas for children of different ages too. I would definitely recommend ❤️

We are extremely happy with the care that our toddler is given here. He loves going in and always comes home happy.
We specially want to thank Blanca for the love and care she gives to all children. Every time we drop our son he has a big smile on his face when he sees Blanca.
We definitely recommend this center to all parents looking for a flexible daycare in the area.

Our son enjoys a lot in Little Learners. The care and the activities are top quality. Blanca is a natural, the kids love her.
