Occidental Torremolinos Playa

We stayed here for Spring Bank holiday week and I haven't got a bad word to say about it. We booked a superior room which was really nice, beds were new and really comfortable. Food was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was cleaned every day. It was perfect for us being in a quieter location but still within reasonable walking distance of Torremolinos. Only a 10 minute walk to the C1 train which we used to visit Malaga, Benalmadena and Fuengirola. We will definitely be returning.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I’m extremely satisfied with my experience. Everything was at a very high level – the rooms were clean and well-maintained, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere was lovely.

The food deserves a special mention – it was delicious and fresh every day. There was always something for everyone. The staff were also outstanding – friendly, helpful, and very professional at all times.

I highly recommend this hotel and would happily come back again!

On arrival at reception, I was greeted by Gema. Who was very professional, and thoughtful. The check in was thorough, and informative. Gema (unlike other colleagues, who were booking in other friends of our group), gave us 6 towel cards in total. So we can exchange our towels, for fresh ones, during our 14 night stay. So if you come to stay at the Occidental Playa Torremelinos, ask for Gema at reception! : DP

The Coralia entertainment team was amazing! Faina, Adhan, Thibault, Hortens and Marco were all so lovely. They made sure we had the best time and helped us make the most of our holiday. They never lacked enthusiasm, joy, or kindness — we truly couldn’t have asked for a better team.

We took part in lots of activities, including water aerobics, volleyball with Faina (which was hilarious!), dancing lessons, disco, and many more. Every activity was fun and well organised, and the team made everyone feel welcome and involved. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable — we will miss you all!

Family stay first time. We arrived end of March and from the very beginning all staff was friendly and amazing. From check in to dining service. Shout out to Miguel and Melisa at the bar, amazing! Anas from entertainment team very engaging! Pilar is the best for the massage and don’t skip the sound bath class amongst the palm trees, the best! Hotel is across the road from the beach which is perfect if you are on holiday with small kids. 5 star overall we had amazing time!!
