I stayed here with my son April 2026.
The room was clean and tidy. Lots of towels, and shower gel/toiletries.
We arrived in the early afternoon, and were told that our rooms would not be accessible until 1600 (but they were ready). However, we could pay an extra €15 to have access straight away. This did not make sense, surely if the room is ready...it is ready. The worker on reception at the time was also 'gruff', unfriendly, and dismissive when we chose to wait until 1600.

The pool area opened at 10am. On one occasion I was sat by the pool at 10:15am. Someone, politely, asked me if I could leave for 15minutes as they were filming. Surely this is not the correct way to treat paying guests?

The bar/Waiting staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The location really did not have much to offer. It is on a good bus route to Marbella and Estepona, the service is a little chaotic though. We did find some really good places for breakfast and dinner

We've just returned from a 4 night break. We were more than happy with the hotel and found the staff friendly and helpful.
The rooms though not large had plenty of storage with a clean bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Shower gel and soap was regularly filled and towels replaced as needed.
Although the hotel is near a main road the traffic was hardly noticeable at night and a gentle background hum during the day. It did mean however the it was just a short walk to a bus to Estepona in one direction and Marbella and Málaga in the other.
There's several places to eat and drink close by and we enjoyed Bro's Kitchen.

Service was very odd. Bar staff, lovely. Cleaners were professional. Receptionists were helpful in explaining bus routes. But I just can't get over the fact that even though our rooms were ready and we were told as such, it would have cost and extra €15 to check in before 16:00. I don't understand this.

Rooms were completely functional. Smart TV. Terrace view could have been better, but really no complaints. Probably good for up to two guests. Anymore would be too much of a tight squeeze. WiFi probably worked about 70% of the time in the rooms.

Location very poor. Its essentially just off a high way. If you're there to golf then that's one story. But if you aren't then within a realistic walking distance, you are stuck with what is essentially a very good Italian restaurant, and a row of shops. The row of shops has a great brunch place. But you need a car if staying here or be prepared to face the public transport system. I feel that this should be stated more explicitly.

You have an Aldi, which is roughly 600m away.

Space around the pool was fine. The sun lounges looked tired and as if they had seen better days. But they worked perfectly fine and for a 3 star hotel I don't feel this is a problem. Hygiene was not a problem, this was held to a high standard. Pool not heated and was uncomfortable to stay in. Would have been better if it was heated or used a thermal blanket to heat

The bar was fantastic. Strong, well made and fairly priced cocktails with a charismatic bartender. I forget the name but he drove a motorcycle and wore glasses. He was fantastic.

For what I paid I am broadly satisfied with the experience. If I could go back in time I would have rented a car beforehand and done more research to see what the immediate local area is like. IE what can I walk to within 15 mins

A current stayer at the hotel. I know the policy of the hotel is the check in is till 4Pm.
I booked this hotel for 3 nights starting today. I drove from Morocco non stop to to Spain to this hotel I came at 09:30 I gently asked please I know and I’m aware of the policy of the hotel to check in early like around 11 or 12 because Al dead tired of driving honestly. The guy on the reception is kind speaks well and gentle explained me that they can’t so I waited on the lobby of the hotel I had no act of mercy during my waiting time no of the staff members came to reassure me they are looking I had nothing as a gesture for waiting at least water mosquitoes were killing me on the lobby.
The. To my surprise around 11 many people check out and yet it’s 1 pm now and no room is yet cleaned to let me in I know and I understand not only person is doing the cleaning but at least to prioritize my case as I was the only one waiting for a room and yet I needed to wait to this moment without a room very disappointing start for a planned holiday I regret not going to my previous hotel where I used to stay.
I emphasiz that I knew the policy of their check in till 4 but I believe it’s over exaggerated
