An Appalling Experience with Unacceptable Behavior from Staff
Today, I visited Primor to meet my mum, who was already in the store and had been standing in line. I greeted her briefly and decided to wait outside with a friend. Five minutes later, I glanced back in to find my mum visibly distressed. To my shock, two customers were aggressively shouting at her, demanding she move to the back of the queue. I immediately intervened, pointing out that she had been waiting for several minutes and had every right to remain in her place.
At this point, a staff member approached us and, without any attempt to understand the situation, began shouting at both my mum and me, instructing us to move to the back of the line. Frankly, I’m both appalled and confused by this behavior. It’s one thing for customers to be rude, but for a member of staff to jump in, side with the aggressors, and escalate the situation is disgraceful.
To make matters worse, the staff’s attitude appeared to be based on prejudiced assumptions rather than facts, which is beyond unacceptable. The implication that nationality was a factor in this decision is not just insulting but deeply concerning. For the record, we "British" are famously known for our queuing etiquette – something that was clearly lacking among the involved parties. The fact that this was disregarded in favor of biased judgments speaks volumes about the poor training and discriminatory attitudes present at this establishment.
My mother, understandably shaken, left her items and walked out. This experience was nothing short of disgraceful, and it’s embarrassing that a store would condone such behavior. Primor, you seriously need to rethink the way your staff handle situations, especially when cultural prejudice seems to be at play.
