I had a good experience at El Puente on a weekday, before sunset, while staying in Nerja. Both the food and service were of good standards. The interior is kind of vintage, and I was lucky not to have to wait long. The only thing that bothered me was the location of this place. I wished it was closer to the old town.

Food was really good, service while friendly was a little slow. Nice terrace area.
Absolutely delicious food and very friendly service. It's just outside of the main town so it's easy to get to but also quieter if you want a break from the crowds. Our swordfish was very fresh and massive, and the pork kebab was very succulent and delicious.
Absolutely beautiful restaurant on the outskirts of Nerja town centre, with its own car park across the road.
Came here for lunch, which for the Menu Del Dia (set menu), is €14 Monday to Thursday.
Included a drink, starter, main, bread and dessert.
All of the food was fantastic, very hearty home cooked meat and potato soup was the highlight for me. Had swordfish for main which was also good and ice cream dessert. My friend had the custard dessert which was even better!
Comes with any drink... Coffee, beer, wine, soft drink.
Very short wait time, and attentive staff.
Definitely worth a visit.
