I recently came across this little bar/restaurant at the rear of Dunnes store. There are a few tables on the street with more space inside.
It's rather deceptive because at first glance you might think that it's one of those places to just pop in for a beer and tapas. Which you can indeed do. But you would be missing out on the variety of proper meals which are available. I went for my favourite - Gambas Pil-Pil. I've eaten this all round Fuengirola and this is the best I have come across. At 10€. My friend went for albondigas and patatas bravos and he was equally happy. We simply had a couple of bottles of beer.
Someone told me that the owners are from Paraguay. I don't know if that's true but if it is I want to find other Paraguayan places to try out!
True hole in the wall place.
Had the seafood paella which tasted like the real deal.
Enjoyed the atmosphere which felt authentic.
