Beautiful location, a little noisy but is the price to pay to be fairly central. The rooms are nice, many lovely terraces to use and a lovely shared one. The place itself needs a little refurb in places, maintenance is needed, showers flood, cleaning could be a touch better (details - is not dirty), but what makes this place special is the staff that is absolutely wonderful, the service is 6 out of 5.

Loved our one night stay here! Very close to the beach and also a walkable distance to the old city center. Reserved a parking spot at their garage. Room was comfortable! And loved the view from the balcony (thank you for the upgrade!)

Nice older style small hotel. Friendly staff. Room was spacious, smelled a little of wood. Older style in the room and bathroom with lots of dark wood furniture. A nice walk out from the center of town but lots of bus options right outside the door. Breakfast was okay, the hot food options not great, scrambled eggs were cold when brought for the kitchen to the bain Marie. Nice selection of small croissants and buns. No frills , chilled vibes. Some nice local restaurants in the area.

Super cosy rooms with fridge and safe available for guests. Room cleaning comes EVERYDAY what makes the stay extra-pleasant. Hugo plus for their honesty bar which saves the night when all shops are closed. All Staff is super friendly and helpful whenever needed. Extremely positive vibe. Great plus for terrace at 4th fluor where you can enjoy great sunsets!

We absolutely loved staying at Hotel California. The people were really friendly, the breakfast was perfect and the room was very big and clean. The hotel has a very nice living-room-like lobby with comfortable couches and a writing desk, my favorite place to hang out in the mornings.
I also loved the little seats on every floor with the books and magazines, giving many opportunities for some reading time. Last but not least, it's very close to the beach, just a few minutes walking distance. We both thought that this two star hotel deserves at least four stars, it's a lovely place to stay for several days.
