The food was good. But extremely racistic behaviour from the moment I stepped in. I have been to 30 countries and of all the places, I didnt expect this in Spain. I was given the fish soup without a spoon. I tried calling the waiter several times to which he responded just a moment. Water was served without a glass and later qhen I asked gave just a glass and I noticed all other table had water with glass and ice in it. Very disappointing discriminating behaviour

The food was very disappointing this time. I think there's a new owner. We used to eat here regularly. Back then, there was a three-course menu ( menu del dia ) for a reasonable price. The flavor of the dishes was bland, and the portions were relatively small. One of us had a sirloin steak, half of which was fatty and inedible. So, unfortunately, I no longer recommend it.

We had a fantastic experience at Casa Carmen in Málaga. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxing meal. We tried several dishes, and the fish was especially fresh and perfectly cooked—full of flavor and beautifully presented.

What made our visit even better was learning that some dishes are halal, which we truly appreciated. It made the dining experience more inclusive and comfortable for our group.

The service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very professional. The staff took the time to explain the menu and suggest the best options.

We highly recommend Casa Carmen for anyone visiting Málaga. Great food, welcoming staff, and a lovely ambiance. We’ll definitely come back!

Amazing food, amazing service, veeery acceptable prices, the highest price i’ve seen was a sirloin steak for little over 20€ but other than that everything under yet white cloths on tables with servers dressed up with class. Very quick service of food yet nobody rushed us. Nice cutlery, pleasant glasses, overall not going anywhere else in Plaza Mayor.
