Offering a 10% discount, then at the counter if you don’t register they don’t give the 10%.

Please be careful in this diesel shop they do not tell you that you have to register for the discount until you are at the checkout.

For me this was very worrying as I did not want to give my name, they only give an explanation at the checkout after paying without the discount. The staff argued with me about the 10% discount which they offered without telling you that they have to register first.

For this I would recommend you taking care in the shop.

The salespeople were a disgrace.

I wanted to buy a belt as a gift, and they offered me a 50% discount if I bought another one. I asked specifically if they offered refunds, as I wasn't sure if I would keep the second belt from the promotion. Both the salesperson who helped me and the cashier assured me there wouldn't be a problem.

Three days later, after trying on the extra belt at home, I went to return it because I wasn't happy with it. They told me they didn't offer refunds, only store credit. The salesperson who had helped me was there and seemed surprised, saying he might have made a mistake or misunderstood me. Despite the communication breakdown and the salespeople's failure—it seems they only want to make a sale by deceiving the customer—they flatly refused to give me a refund. This was even though I was within the first 15 days of the purchase, a legal right consumers in Spain have to reject a contract, which, in the end, the receipt serves as proof of purchase.

Clearly, if they need customers, this is the worst way to retain them, especially when there's a communication breakdown in their returns policy, which they justify with a sign behind the register that's illegible from the checkout line.

A disgrace for a brand like Diesel.
