My experience with Rafa was great! The studio space is beautiful and has a relaxing, serene atmosphere. It's clear that Rafa has a great understanding of the body and makes sure you get individualized attention during class. I left the class feeling very calm, loose, and peaceful.

I have tried a lot of different types of yoga during the years, but this was in some way a new experience. The work with Rafael is not necessary hard in the common sense, but is not trivial nor obvious. Deep slow stretches and strong grounded positions (sometimes with tools support), accompanied with beautiful reflections and breath work allow you to refocus on the connection with your body and breath.
Good for the mind, soul and body I strongly recommend these classes also to people who like me like to be active with different sports (in my case I usually climb, run and do strength workouts), to regain balance, awareness and a loving connection with your body

Being used to practice yoga in the Netherlands and not wanting to miss that during the time I would be living in Malaga,
I decided to give it a try Spanish. I joined several yoga classes, but Rafa was by far the best! Having a professional background in the field of exercise I am a bit critical... I do think Rafa knows very well what he is doing.
To start with: there is enough time. Furthermore there is always a specific theme with a good 'warming-up' and 'cooling-down', where there is an eye for both physical and mental aspects of the yoga. There is a wide range of yoga- attributes and a well thought use of them. This might sound a bit technical but the opposite is true, it all feels very fluent and natural. And in the end...relaxing.
Highly and heartily recommended :-) !

I have been doing yoga with Rafa for a couple of months and really enjoyed it. He loves what he does and you can definitely feel it during his classes. Very attentive and thoughtful.
I also had a private session of massage because I had a problem with my hand and he has been very professional.

I have incidentally discovered this yoga studio, and I think it was a twist of good fate.

The sessions are very well designed, aimed at discovering your own body, and being conscious of it. There are elements of both physical challenge and relaxation/meditation, all in good proportions however. Most of all, they are entertaining, so the practise never feels like a monotonous work out, rather a fun way of putting your body parts in use :)

The teacher is superb. Very professional while friendly and accessible. He takes individual approach to students even when dealing with bigger groups.

Highly recommended.
