Muy agradable! 😊 Room comfortable, clean and nicely air conditioned. I especially liked the shower, which was so much better than I’ve seen in other low cost accommodation. Roof terrace has lovely views and they very kindly let me hang my clothes to dry up there, there’s a laundrette nearby 👍 Guille was often on the phone in reception, but always paused his conversation to speak to me, which I appreciated 🤗 Nothing was to much trouble for housekeeping staff. I’d definitely stay here again 👏

At first really nice staff when they're there and not on the phone. Email communication is good but little English which is fine. (I think people have started to pretend not to speak English since Brexit but they will definitely feel the loss - however with each journey I speak another language so it helps if you do - we can't navigate without at least trying - I think BSL should be the universal language not English). Fairly clean rooms, but very basic which reflects in price. Seems to lack identity. If you want peace and calm however this is not the place for you right now. I stayed here a few times before but not with these owners - didn't know it changed owners. Other guests onsite during my stay were loud, slammed doors and stand outside in corridors talking on phones. No soft furnishings means building carrys sound really badly. People also smoke inside not just tobacco. Can hear toilets flushing, beds creaking (some aren't even beds more bench) heavy footsteps, phone videos.- sometimes noise like this is scary for a solo traveler. Told owners in message form so could be better translated but no support. Rooms are unfinished and not planned out very well random shelves make no sense. A lamp is needed as lights are very bright for the evening time, makes things look awful, like a hospital morgue. I used a candle but I almost bought a cheap salt lamp from China Home as felt the attempted new aesthetic was heading this way (boho chill). What happened to the roof terrace? Beds clean but blanket throws bad smell very unwashed. Sink or toilet leaked - reported it but wasn't fixed - I then slipped in the night which I find funny now but it wasn't then - I didn't fall over which was good. I had to waste a towel on the floor to be safe. For all it's faults its got potential. Nice location in a local town, good people running it mostly. Love all the essential oils and incense about. Hopefully gets better and is very successful. Wont stay here again unless it becomes a Guesthouse. Wish there was access to a washing machine and fridge. Would probably be popular with travellers who have been to places like Asia as similar guesthouses there.
