The location is perfect, rooms are spacious, the staff is super nice. Also, breakfast has a lot of options. However, the rooms could have been better insulated. The noise from the vehicles outside is very disturbing. Overall, our 4 nights stay at this hotel was very good.

About the neighbourhood: Málaga-Este
The Eastern district stretches along the coast from La Malagueta beach to the village-like fishing quarter of El Palo. It contains some of the city's most distinctive areas: La Malagueta (urban beach next to the port), Pedregalejo (palm-lined seafront paseo, traditional espetos), El Palo (working fishing community and casual chiringuitos), and El Limonar / Cerrado de Calderón (residential hillside with sea views). Local buses 11 and 34 connect the entire strip to the city centre. The seafront promenade is continuous and walkable end-to-end.

1,512 total reviewsWe stayed here 10 years ago and didn't hesitate to come back for our 42nd annaversary. In truth it's gotten better. Rooms are big and staff are great. Breakfast is one the best we have had in our years of travel. Close the marina for great restraints and 200 meters from the beach witch is 7 km long.
We will be back for sure.
So clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast(not excellent). Greaaaaat location, close to every places you need to visit in malaga(beach,historical sightsseings, shopping areas…). The only weak point is the size of the rooms which are small. And you should know the hotel is old. If you expect a modern, newly constructed hotel, you might get disappointed at first. On the whole I recommend this hotel.
Had a fabulous 4 days here. Location is amazing, 5 minutes walk to the beach. 10 minutes walk to the old town. Staff made my birthday special with complimentary fizz. Breakfast was good plenty of choices. The hotel bar was very chic. Didn't try the restaurant.. But will be back next year
I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. My room was very dark and quiet for sleeping. No ambient light which I appreciate. If I could suggest adding chairs to the terraces.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again if I were to return to Malaga.
