LUCKY RENT A CAR

Staff members friendly. Made it easy for us to hirer, a small car , we hired a car for 2 days €90 then €10 per day to cover full insurance. All you had to do is make sure the car was full of fuel when it arrived back . Simple . Need your driving licence and need to sign a contract. It was very simple to do . Our little car was great for a few days . No hidden agendas .There were other forms of transportation you could hirer

It's never been easier to hire a car. Walked in. Said what we wanted and drove away in 10 mins. Price was good. Insurance added for €10. Car outside waiting and we drove away with a full tank of fuel. No messing around with sales pitches and add on extras. Excellent place to hire from. Thanks.

DANGEROUS CAR CONDITION – DO NOT RENT HERE !

I picked up a car from Lucky Rent a Car. The fuel tank was bone-dry empty (fuel warning light was on), one tire was completely bald. The sunroof was broken also broken.

Handing over a vehicle in this condition is reckless and puts lives at risk— Stay far away from this company; your safety is not their priority.

Good customer service when hiring the car.
Wanted 7 seats but only 9 available. Paid for 9 seater which is OK .
Got a poor quality minibus. Looked modern but had many issues. No fuel in tank to start us off. Gauge was below the red.
Car continuously chugging for the trip. I presume this is due to the dirt in the tank and fuel line as a result of running the car on empty.
Service light came on twice and van had a low pitch alarm sounding more or less continuously.
On return I explained these issues but only got. "Not our vehicle. We hired this from another company" as if it was now my issue that the vehicle was sourced from another company. ????
I needed a similar vehicle two days later but was told there would be no allowance made for my poor rental experience.
Lucky are lucky to get three stars.

Terrible Experience, Avoid at All Costs

We had a horrible experience with Lucky Rent Car in Torremolinos. They gave us a bad car with a flat tire, and soon after we were on the road, the wheel came off while driving between Ronda and Marbella — a dangerous situation, especially since we had four children with us!

We tried to call them immediately, but they did not answer or help. Instead, they sent us an SMS saying they couldn’t answer now and to wait until the next day! We were stranded for over 6 hours, with no support. No taxi or Uber would come to that area. It was an extremely stressful and unsafe situation.

When we finally managed to reach them, they refused to take responsibility. No refund, no replacement vehicle, and they even told us to “call the police” if we wanted help. By the time they finally agreed to contact us, the rental period was almost over and we had already suffered through the worst of it.

This company is completely unreliable, unprofessional, and unsafe. I strongly recommend avoiding Lucky Rent Car — they are not prepared for emergencies and will leave you stranded without any help.
