I had an excellent experience at the Óptica Soloptical Malaga Nostrum branch today. As a non-local with very limited Spanish, I was so relieved to find that the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful.
Laura, one of the the assistants, spoke great English and guided me through the entire process of ordering my first pair of reading glasses. The eye test was conducted by María José, who was not only very professional, friendly and knowledgeable but also fluent in English, which made me feel completely at ease.
The service was top-notch and they took such care to help me out. The price was also very competitive, including the frame and eye test. I was also very impressed with the insurance option, which offers a free replacement for a year if the frame breaks, the lenses get scratched, or my eyesight changes.
I only had to prepay 20% of the cost, and I'll get a WhatsApp notification when my glasses are ready in about a week. I highly recommend this shop and its wonderful staff!

A long, mostly residential district running south-west of the centre, parallel to the coast as far as the airport boundary. I recommend the shop, also had a really good experience.
They sold me horrible lenses with glasses for 200 euros. In bill saying lenses energy, but I didn’t get any info about this lenses. What they could give me is INDO brochure that not related to my order. Lenses gives blue glare on white lights (as car lights). It’s impossible to use it at all. Shop reject to change or return money for lenses because it’s my special prescription they I don’t really have. My order just uv protection lenses without any correction.
