Very nice meal, all well cooked and presented, lovely bread and local olive oil for dipping. Beautiful decor, incredibly clean and well maintained. The staff were also very welcome and attentive throughout service.

In Malaga this restaurant is an oasis. The building and ambience is incredible. The service is so amazing, friendly and just perfect. Then we have the food, wow every dish was superb and made to the highest of standards and consideration. The wine selection is excellent. The live music through the brilliant Spanish guitarist was beautiful and added significantly to the overall dining experience. Special thanks to those who supported the evening, Jose-Manuel, Pedro & Tarik and the delightful Patricia who was so helpful. Thank you Restaurante Balausta.

An absolutely wonderful experience. I was taken to Balausta as a surprise by my husband for my birthday

The venue is so beautiful. It feels elegant and special. The service was impeccable.

We had the oysters, best oysters I've ever had, prawn croquettes, steak tartare and for mains the duck and cod. Everything was outstanding. No faults at all.

If you are in Málaga, this is a must do. We cannot wait to visit again.

Really high quality and classy restaurant with superb service and knowledgeable waitresses.
Food was excellent and really nicely served. Atmosphere reflected well with the overall experience and gave a nice upscale feeling. Wine recommendations and pairings were right on and refilled / topped throughout the service. And wait for the final chocolates… amazing!
Portions were well thought out and presented with bang of flavors.
Gluten free bread and other allergic options were really carefully delivered.

Nice place, too bad that the coulant / moelleux dessert was way too liquid, and that the waiters were very inattentive: we didn't have the chance to order another drink for our main dish and only by the time we were done, were able to order some wine. But beautiful setting and amazing brioche steak tartar as an entry! I also enjoyed the lobster pasta. (January 2026)
