Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Route to the Gibralfaro. Good for walking and hiking, even running. Views of the Malaga from above.
hiking and discovering beautiful history place in Malaga
Very cool and beautiful view but packed with tourists for the sunset view, there was literally no place to move.
Avoid going there for the sunset
Nice place for a short hike.
