Best Restaurants in Torremolinos
Torremolinos has one of the densest dining scenes on the Costa del Sol, and as of 2026 it goes well beyond the fish-and-chips stereotype some visitors still expect. The seafront promenades are lined with long-running chiringuitos and family restaurants, while the streets a few blocks inland hide small tapas counters, tasting-menu kitchens and a surprising spread of international cooking, from Neapolitan pizzerias to Nepalese curries. Standards are high: many of the town's best-rated tables hold ratings above 4.5 stars across thousands of reviews, which makes choosing harder than it sounds.
A few names illustrate the range. Restaurante El Dorado is the most-reviewed restaurant in town and still consistently top-rated, while RISTORANTE PIZZERIA LA MIA REGINA holds one of the highest scores anywhere in Málaga province for classic Italian cooking. For something more creative, El Taller in Playamar works without conventional stoves and serves a tasting menu that has made it a local talking point, and Zabor Feten shows how seriously Torremolinos now takes modern fusion. Between the centre, La Carihuela and Playamar, you can eat very differently every night of the week without leaving town.
Practical advice: book ahead for dinner in summer and on weekends year-round, because the top-rated spots fill fast. Lunch remains the best-value meal, with many kitchens offering set midday menus. Choose by mood rather than by guidebook order — seafood by the beach, tapas in the centre, international options scattered between — and check recent reviews since quality shifts seasonally.
