About the neighbourhood: Distrito Centro

Málaga's historic core, bounded by the Guadalmedina river to the west, the port to the south and the slopes of Mount Gibralfaro to the east. The district contains the Cathedral, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba fortress, the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre, plus the main shopping street Calle Marqués de Larios. Inside Distrito Centro sit the well-known sub-areas of Centro Histórico, Soho, La Merced and Lagunillas. The area is almost entirely pedestrianised, served by Metro Atarazanas and the Málaga–Centro Alameda rail station.

Idk I thought it was fine. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed. Tiny showers but they also provide a lot of amenities at a cost. I will say the lock hole for you luggage is super tiny so either bring a small lock or one of those wire locks.

Location is good if you want to party or go out. Rooms are very simple. Ours didn't have a window and the facilities in the kitchen were broken. There are better hostels in Málaga!

The people at reception are very unpleasant. They ask for a card rental but don't give you the money back. Avoid at all costs. They should train their staff. No seating available.

I loved my stay here! The hostel is in the centre, so it's easy to go anywhere by foot. Of course it's a bit noisy, but what else do you expect booking a hostel in the centre of a touristy city.
My room was pretty nice - beds are comfortable and not squeeky.
The only thing that was a bit disappointing were the showers. Door design makes them leak on the floor and there's some mold in the corners.
The staff very incredibly friendly and helpful! I'd stay here again.

One of the best hostels I've been to. Cleanliness is noticeable and beds are comfortable. The bathroom is also very nice to use. However, bring your own lock. It's in a perfect location, as soon as you step out onto the street you immediately feel good.
