Golo de Lunares was the first flamenco dress store that caught my eye in Málaga. I had always wanted a flamenco dress, but as a non-Spaniard, I was a bit hesitant to go inside. After some time, I finally decided to step in and I’m so glad I did😊😊

The dresses were absolutely stunning, and I was immediately assisted, even with my limited Spanish. Later, a staff member who spoke English helped me, making the experience even easier. After trying on several dresses, it became clear which ones I couldn’t leave without not one… but two dresses💃💃 and everything else that I needed to complete my looks
(The purple and black dresses) absolutely obsessed with them🤩🤩🤩

A few months later, I couldn’t resist returning to Golo de Lunares for more dresses. By now, I’ve purchased four dresses and many accessories.
(The white and pink dress)
I’m beyond satisfied with the quality, the friendliness of the staff, and the magical experience♥️

We had the best experience with Isabell! She was incredibly kind and friendly, and she speaks excellent English, which made everything so much easier. I’m South African and bought my first ever red Flamenco dress here, a dream come true! We also learned that this is a long-standing, family-owned business. Isabell’s mother has worked at the store for nearly 50 years, and according to her, it’s the oldest shop on the road. It’s full of heart, history, and beautiful pieces. I hope you can find your Spanish dream here too!

I bought a blanket for €150 on May 11th. I've only worn it once and haven't washed it. I've used it properly and normally. The day after wearing it, I noticed it was frayed in one area, but upon closer inspection, I saw that it was frayed in several places.
I went to the store to complain. First, I received very unpleasant treatment (just as described in many of these reviews), and then, in a very rude manner, they simply told me that the blanket wasn't like that when it left the store. Obviously, if it had been like that, I wouldn't have bought it. It's unbelievable that a €150 blanket could deteriorate like that after only one use. I've filed a formal complaint and will continue with the appropriate legal action. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I went to this shop a week ago because the window display really caught my eye and the dresses looked beautiful. I intended to try some on because I'm going to the Seville Fair, although I didn't plan to buy anything that day. Upon entering, the man with glasses who was working there completely ignored me from the start, and while looking at the dresses, he had a rather dismissive attitude. When I asked if I could try on a dress, he replied, "If you're going to buy something, of course. But no photos, only like this." Honestly, I think that's a completely inappropriate response, since it's perfectly normal to try something on and ask for an opinion with a photo before deciding. After reading other reviews, I'm almost glad I didn't insist on trying anything on, because it seems the experience can be even worse. The attitude was arrogant and unprofessional, as if they were doing us a favor by letting us into the shop. A very unpleasant experience.

We went there full of excitement to buy a flamenco dress and left with an experience worthy of a bad joke... but a real farce.
That said, one thing must be acknowledged: the designs are original. It's a shame that's practically the only positive aspect.
The price was exorbitant for the service we received. The customer service was a veritable parade of sour faces. The owner seems allergic to smiling, and the salesperson is no better. You expect to feel excited when buying a flamenco dress, not like you're in the way every time you walk through the door.

And then came the real spectacle: we had to go back four times to pick up the dress. Each visit brought a new surprise; when it wasn't one problem, it was another. It was like an obstacle course: "Come back again, there's still one more alteration."
In the end, we drove more miles than we could have hoped for and had more patience than a mother at the fair.

In short: a beautiful dress, yes. But such a terrible experience that it wasn't even remotely worth it. We will not return, and we certainly would not recommend it to anyone who values their time, their money, and minimally pleasant service.
